Nose thread lift Korea price: you've probably checked it already, but is the bigger worry that threads won't do much for a low bridge or a round tip, and that you'll spend a whole trip finding out?
Read this before you book the flight.
You'll know what decides the cost for your nose, what reviews get right and wrong, how the methods differ, and what recovery looks like over a few days in Seoul. That should tell you whether threads, filler or neither fits your nose and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Sarang Lim, Head Doctor at Muse Clinic Myeongdong. I'm an advisory doctor for NOVA Thread and a member of the Korean Society of Aesthetic Surgery.
A structured consultation with an interpreter comes first, and then I plan and perform the treatment myself, one-to-one. English, Japanese and Chinese interpreters are in the clinic, and foreign visitors pay the same listed prices as Korean patients.
The choice people most often get wrong is paying for threads to make a change that threads can't make.
The cost of a nose thread lift in Korea is set mainly by the thread option, how many threads your bridge and tip need, whether filler is added, and how long you stay. Threads lift a tip and define a bridge by a small amount; they don't make a wide tip smaller or take down a hump.
If you're unsure which group your nose falls into, send one side-profile photo taken in daylight on WhatsApp, with the one question on your mind, for example whether your tip can be lifted at all.
When would I tell you not to get a nose thread lift?
If you sat down across from me, my first question would be what you want to change in the side view. The answer sorts things out quickly, because threads do one kind of job.
The barbs grip the tissue and hold the tip a little higher and the bridge line a little straighter. Over the following months the threads dissolve, and the body lays down some collagen along their path. That is the whole mechanism: support and a small amount of lift.
So I'd steer you away from threads if what bothers you is width or bulk. A bulbous tip caused by thick skin or wide cartilage won't get smaller with threads, and the hump on a hawk-shaped or hooked nose won't flatten. Reshaping bone or cartilage is work for a plastic surgeon, not for threads or filler.
There are medical reasons to wait, too: an active pimple or infection on the nose, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a bleeding disorder or blood-thinning medicine you can't pause with your own doctor's agreement, and a history of keloid scarring. If you've had an implant or an earlier operation on your nose, bring the details, because scarred or thinned tip skin changes the risk of a thread showing or working its way out.
Thin skin over the tip is what I weigh most carefully with nose threads. The threads sit just under that skin, and where it's thin a thread is more likely to be felt, to show as a faint line, or to work its way out. For a nose like that, I would rather add a small amount of height with filler, or do nothing, than place threads close to the surface.
Museko threads, nose filler, or both: how the methods differ
On my menu, the nose thread treatment is Museko nose thread lifting. The menu describes it as threads that hold the nose, the bridge and the tip, and the price list shows two options. Some searches name other branded nose-thread techniques; I can only speak to what I offer, which is Museko. Thread lifting for the face is a separate menu, face thread lifting, and I've written more about it in how PDO thread lifting works in Seoul.
Nose filler is the other main option. Filler adds volume, and threads add support and lift. A flat bridge with a tip that already sits well is usually a filler question. A tip that droops, or points down when you smile, is more of a thread question. Some noses need a little of both.
Nose filler carries one specific risk you should know about. The blood vessels there are small and connect to the skin of the tip and the area around the eye, so gel pressing on or entering a vessel can block blood flow. It's uncommon, it needs treatment straight away, and it's the reason nose filler should go in slowly and in small amounts.
An example: low bridge, round tip, five days in Seoul
Say you have a low bridge, a round tip that sits slightly low, and fairly thick skin, and you're in Seoul for five days. I would not tell you threads will make the tip narrower, because thick skin hides small changes in shape. I'd talk about lifting the tip a little with threads and adding height to the bridge with filler, and I'd want the treatment on your first or second day so you still have a few days in town if the tip is tender or one side sits higher. If what you really want is a smaller tip, I'd tell you that in the consultation room and save you the cost.

What decides the nose thread lift Korea price for your case?
There isn't one figure, because the nose thread lift Korea price you end up paying is built from a few choices. These are the ones that move it:
| Factor | Why it changes the cost |
|---|---|
| Which Museko option | The price list has two; ask which one fits your nose |
| How many threads you need | A tip-only lift uses fewer threads than a bridge-and-tip plan |
| Filler added or not | Height from filler is a second product on top of the threads |
| Numbing | Ask whether it's part of the option or separate |
| Days in Seoul | Every extra night adds accommodation and time off work |
Prices for every menu at the clinic, all 77 of them, are published on the site and exclude 10% VAT, and foreign visitors pay the same listed prices as Korean patients. You can browse them on the treatments and prices page. To get the figure for your own nose, ask on WhatsApp which Museko option and how many threads would apply to a nose like yours, and whether filler would be part of it.
What do nose thread lift reviews get right?
Review threads about nose threads repeat a handful of claims. Some hold up, and some go further than the medicine.
'You can go sightseeing the next day' is true for many people. Swelling and tenderness at the tip are usually mild, and bruising, when it happens, is small. A day of wearing a mask and keeping pressure off the nose covers most of it.
'It looks great on day one and then drops' is partly true. Early swelling makes the tip look higher and sharper than it will settle. What you see after a couple of weeks is closer to the real change.
'It lasts for years' is where reviews overreach. The threads are absorbable and dissolve over months, and the support they give fades with them, so the change is temporary and many people repeat it.
'You can feel the threads' is sometimes true, mostly in the first weeks or with thin tip skin. A thread that keeps poking or shows as a line needs a doctor to look at it, rather than waiting it out.
How long is recovery when you're only in Seoul for a few days?
Recovery from a nose thread lift is usually short, and most of it you manage yourself. For the first few days, expect some swelling and tenderness at the tip, and sometimes a small bruise near the entry point. Many doctors advise sleeping on your back, keeping heavy glasses off the bridge, not rubbing or squeezing the nose, and skipping saunas, heavy drinking and hard workouts for about a week.
If you're flying, put the treatment early in your stay. The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a 1-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5 (Line 4), so a weekend slot is possible too. Keep a day or two in Seoul after treatment so you're nearby while the early swelling settles. Wear a mask on the plane and watch for neck pillows and bags bumping your nose.
Risks and side effects to know
The common reactions are temporary: swelling, tenderness, a small bruise, a tight feeling at the tip, and slight unevenness while the swelling settles. These usually ease over several days to a couple of weeks. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons lists risks of thread lifts that include infection, bruising and threads that can be seen or felt under the skin.
As general medicine, these are reasons to wait or skip it: an infection or active acne on the nose, a recent laser or peel on that area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a bleeding tendency or blood thinners, keloid scarring, and an allergy to the thread material.
If something appears after you fly home, such as a thread end poking through, redness that spreads, warmth, pus or fever, see a doctor at home promptly and take dated photos of the area. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests getting copies of your treatment records before you leave and arranging follow-up care at home. Results vary from person to person, and so does how long the lift holds.
If your dates are already fixed, send the day you land and the day you leave on WhatsApp, and ask whether that window leaves enough room after a nose thread lift.
What you can check about Muse Clinic Myeongdong before you fly
The clinic is on the 3rd floor of Korea Daeyungak Tower, 97 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu, across from Shinsegae Department Store; the building has a Twosome Place café and Hana Bank on the ground floor. It's the Myeongdong branch of Muse Clinic, which has 11 branches in Korea.
Because the full price list is on the site, you can look at both Museko options before you write. An interpreter stays with you from the consultation through the treatment, which matters on a nose, where you'll want to say exactly how much lift feels like too much. The first thing I hold to is genuine product at the correct dosage, stated openly. You can read my background on the doctor page.

If you've had anything injected or threaded into your nose before, note what it was and roughly when, and add it to your message. It's an easy detail to forget, and it shapes which option is sensible.
Before your first WhatsApp message
One photo is enough to start: your side profile in daylight, no beauty filter. Add the one thing you want to change, and you can ask before booking anything.
When you come to Myeongdong, I examine your nose with you and recommend what fits it, whether that's threads, filler, both, or neither, and we go through the details for your nose together at that consultation. Send that first photo on WhatsApp whenever you're ready.
Questions people ask
Before you message us
Is the consultation included in the nose thread lift Korea price?
Each Museko option is shown on the clinic's price list on its own, and the prices on the site exclude 10% VAT. What each option covers, including numbing, is worth asking on WhatsApp before you book. Foreign visitors pay the same listed prices as Korean patients, so the list you see online is the same one a local patient sees.
How long does a nose thread lift usually hold?
The threads are absorbable, so they dissolve over months, and the lift they give fades gradually with them. Some collagen forms along the thread path, which helps for a while afterward. How long it holds differs between people, with skin thickness and how far the tip was lifted playing a part. Many people choose to repeat it rather than expect a lasting change.
Can threads make a bulbous or wide nose tip smaller?
Usually not. Threads lift and support the tip; they don't remove thick skin or cartilage, which are what make most wide tips wide. A slight lift can make a round tip look a little more defined from the side, but from the front the width mostly stays. If width is your main concern, say so in your first message.
Does a nose thread lift hurt?
Many people feel pressure and a sharp sting at the entry point, then tenderness at the tip for a few days. Numbing for thread procedures can be handled in different ways, so ask how it works for the Museko option you're considering. If you tend to feel faint around needles, mention it beforehand and eat a meal before your appointment.
Can I have nose filler and threads on the same day?
It's sometimes done when a nose needs both height along the bridge and lift at the tip. Whether it makes sense for you rests on your skin thickness, any earlier treatments in your nose, and how many days you have in Seoul for swelling to settle. If you're considering both, mention it when you write so the plan covers both from the start.
How soon can I fly home after a nose thread lift?
Cabin pressure isn't the concern; knocks are. A neck pillow, a bag or a seatback can bump the nose, so be careful boarding and sleeping on the plane. Leaving a spare day in Seoul means you're still nearby if a thread end starts to feel sharp.
Results and maintenance period vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, which are explained before you agree to treatment. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices may change. This article is general information from the clinic and is not a diagnosis; suitability is decided at the consultation.
