A skin booster is the injection visitors ask me about when their skin looks tired in photos rather than wrinkled. Dull tone. Dry by lunchtime. Pores that show through foundation. The word covers several different products, and that is where people get lost. Some add water. Some prompt collagen. One on our list targets pores with PDRN. They are not interchangeable, and the wrong one is money spent on the wrong problem.
This guide covers the four skin boosters on our menu at Muse Clinic Myeongdong: Skin vive, Olidia Skin 4cc, Lilied M Glass Skin Injection and the Pore Injection with PDRN. For each one I explain what it does, when I would choose it in a consultation, and what it costs on the same list a Korean patient sees. Lines start from ₩120,000 (excl. 10% VAT).
What a skin booster is, and what it is not
A skin booster is a product injected into the skin itself, not under it. Fillers go deeper to add shape. A skin booster stays in the dermis, the layer that holds water and collagen, and changes how the skin looks and feels across an area rather than in one spot.
Most skin boosters are built around hyaluronic acid, the molecule in your skin that binds water. Injecting it puts moisture back where creams cannot reach. Others use a collagen stimulator, a material that prompts your own skin to build collagen over months. A third group mixes a regenerative ingredient such as PDRN into a recipe aimed at one problem, like pores.
- Hydrating boosters (hyaluronic acid): dryness, dullness, fine surface lines. Fast result, shorter hold.
- Collagen-stimulating boosters (PLLA): texture, firmness, pores, acne scars. Slower result, longer hold.
- Targeted recipes (PDRN Pore Injection): pores and skin regeneration after breakouts.
- Not a skin booster: Botox, which relaxes muscle, and filler, which adds volume.
The four skin boosters on our menu, and when I would choose each
Our list has more skin injections than most visitors expect. These four are the ones I reach for most, in the order I usually think through them at a consultation.
Skin vive: hydration for the cheeks
Skin vive is a U.S. FDA-approved hyaluronic acid formulation injected directly into the skin of both cheeks to improve fine wrinkles and rough texture. The cheeks look smoother and hold moisture better. It comes in 1cc and 2cc sessions, and a cannula can be added if you would rather have fewer needle entries.
When I would choose it: a face that keeps getting dry no matter what you apply, cheeks that look crepey in side light, or a wedding a few weeks away. It is the option I suggest to visitors who want an FDA-approved product from a single visit. Note that the treatment area is the cheeks, not the whole face.
Olidia Skin 4cc: collagen for texture, pores and firmness
Olidia Skin is different in kind. It is an FDA-approved PLLA collagen stimulator with uniformly shaped particles that spread evenly from the skin barrier down to the deep dermis. It does not add water. It prompts your own collagen to form in layers over the following months, so texture, fine lines, pores, acne scars and elasticity improve together. It is made in Korea and listed as holding for up to 24 months.
When I would choose it: rough texture, pores you can see in a mirror at arm's length, early loss of firmness, or acne scarring that is shallow rather than pitted. I am an advisory doctor for Olidia, so I know the product well. Bruising or swelling can last one to two weeks, which matters if you fly home soon after.
Lilied M Glass Skin Injection: the glass-skin glow
Lilied M is a premium hyaluronic acid skin booster in a 5cc syringe. It charges the skin with water and helps it hold there, supports collagen inside the dermis, and absorbs naturally. Skin feels hydrated straight away. The effect generally holds for about two to three months, depending on your skin and how you care for it. We recommend three sessions, two weeks apart, for a build-up.
When I would choose it: a dull tone, rough dry skin with small bumpy breakouts, or someone who wants skin that feels plump rather than tight. It is the one I suggest to visitors who searched for a Korean glass-skin injection. There is also a Lilied M Glow Toxin 5.5cc option that pairs the hyaluronic acid with a toxin, which people often call skin Botox.
Pore Injection with PDRN: pores and regeneration
The Pore Injection is our own recipe mixed with PDRN, a regenerative ingredient, aimed at pore contraction and skin regeneration. It is done after numbing cream. One session can show a change. We recommend three for a fuller result, and there is a 3-session line on the list.
When I would choose it: wide pores, acne marks, uneven texture after breakouts, or someone who typed PDRN into a search bar and wants to know what we actually use it for. If your main complaint is dryness rather than pores, I point you back to Lilied M or Skin vive first. PDRN on our menu is a pore and regeneration tool, not a moisturiser.

Skin booster comparison: water, collagen or pores?
This is the table I draw on paper for visitors who are choosing between two. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.
| Skin vive | Olidia Skin 4cc | Lilied M Glass Skin | Pore Injection (PDRN) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Main target | Fine cheek wrinkles, rough texture, dryness | Texture, pores, acne scars, firmness | Dull tone, dry rough skin, glow | Wide pores, acne marks, regeneration |
| How it works | FDA-approved hyaluronic acid injected into the skin | PLLA prompts your own collagen | Premium hyaluronic acid charges cells with water | Clinic recipe with PDRN |
| Feels like | Small injections; cannula available | Small injections | Numbing cream, then small injections | Numbing cream, then small injections |
| Downtime | Little; small bumps settle | Bruising or swelling up to 1–2 weeks | Little | Little |
| When results show | Over the following weeks | Gradually over months | Immediately; holds about 2–3 months | After 1 session; 3 recommended |
| Sessions | 1cc or 2cc, one visit | One visit | 3 or more, 2 weeks apart | 1 session or a 3-session line |
Skin booster prices in Korea: our list, same as Korean patients
Every price below is the line a Korean patient sees. There is no foreigner menu. Prices exclude 10% VAT, and event prices run for a limited time, so the treatment pages carry the current numbers.
- Skin Vive 1cc 1 session₩395,000₩229,000
- Skinvive 2 cc₩790,000₩419,000
- Pain Relief Injection Package₩789,000
- Skin Vive 1cc₩220,000
- Olidia Skin 4cc₩240,000
- Olidia Skin 4cc₩615,000
- Lilied M Glass Skin Injection 5CC₩270,000₩159,000
- Lilied M Glow Toxin 5.5CC₩300,000₩179,000
- Lilied M Glass Skin Injection 5CC₩270,000
- Lilied M Glow Toxin 5.5CC₩300,000
- Pore Injection 1 session₩120,000
- Pore Injection 3 sessions₩320,000
Prices exclude 10% VAT. Event prices run for a limited period and may change — the treatment page always shows the current list.
What changes the number is the product and the volume: 1cc versus 2cc of Skin vive, a single Pore Injection versus the 3-session line, and whether you add a cannula. I tell you which line I would pick for your skin before you decide, not after.
What the visit looks like
A structured consultation with an interpreter comes first. English, Japanese and Chinese interpreters are in the clinic, and someone stays with you from consultation through treatment. Then I plan and do the injection one to one.
- 01Consultation: I look at your skin under light, ask what bothers you in photos, and pick the product.
- 02Cleansing, then numbing cream for the hyaluronic acid and PDRN boosters, so the injections are barely felt.
- 03The product is checked for originality and dose in front of you. Genuine products, correct dosage is the clinic's first motto.
- 04The injection itself: small entries across the area, or a cannula for Skin vive if you chose it.
- 05Finishing care and sunscreen. Then you walk back into Myeongdong.
Aftercare is simple. For Olidia Skin, avoid makeup and washing the area on the day, and skip alcohol, smoking and exercise that day; uneven swelling or redness usually settles within a day or two. For the others, keep the skin moisturised and use sunscreen. Small bumps at injection points are normal for the first hours.

Why visitors book skin boosters at Muse Clinic Myeongdong
Three things we put in writing. The full price list, every option and every number, is on the treatments page and is the same for foreigners and Koreans. Interpreters are in the clinic, not on a phone line. And the head doctor consults and treats: after the structured consultation, Dr. Sarang Lim plans and performs the treatment one to one.
The clinic is a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5, on the 3rd floor of the building with a Twosome Place café at street level. We are open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–15:00. If pores are your main concern, Potenza RF microneedling pairs with the Pore Injection; that is a separate conversation we can have on WhatsApp.
Questions people ask
Before you message us
Which skin booster is right for dry skin?
A hyaluronic acid skin booster. On our list that means Lilied M Glass Skin Injection for the whole face or Skin vive for the cheeks. Both put water back into the dermis, where creams cannot reach. The PDRN Pore Injection is aimed at pores and regeneration, not dryness, so I would not choose it for a dry face. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.
How much does a skin booster cost in Korea?
At Muse Clinic Myeongdong the skin booster lines start from ₩120,000 for a single Pore Injection, from ₩159,000 for Lilied M Glass Skin Injection 5cc, from ₩220,000 for Skin vive 1cc and from ₩240,000 for Olidia Skin 4cc. All prices exclude 10% VAT and are the same list a Korean patient pays. Event prices run for a limited time, so the treatment pages show the current numbers.
How long does a skin booster last?
It depends on the product. Lilied M generally holds for about two to three months, which is why we suggest three sessions two weeks apart for a build-up. Olidia Skin works by prompting your own collagen and is listed as holding for up to 24 months. Skin vive is a long-lasting hyaluronic acid formulation. Your own skin, age and aftercare change these numbers, so they vary from person to person.
Is PDRN a skin booster, and do you offer it in Korea?
PDRN is a regenerative ingredient rather than a brand. On our menu it is part of the Pore Injection, a clinic recipe mixed with PDRN and aimed at pore contraction and skin regeneration after breakouts. If you searched for PDRN because of dryness or dullness, a hyaluronic acid skin booster is usually the better match, and I will say so at the consultation rather than inject what you asked for by name.
Can I get a skin booster on a short trip to Seoul?
Yes. Skin vive, Lilied M and the Pore Injection are single-visit treatments with little downtime, and we are open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and weekends 09:00–15:00. Olidia Skin can bruise or swell for one to two weeks, so book it early in your trip or plan for that. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and we will suggest the order that fits.
Does a skin booster injection hurt?
Numbing cream goes on first for Lilied M and the Pore Injection, so the small injections are felt as pressure more than pain. Skin vive can be done with a cannula for a small extra charge listed on the treatment page, which means fewer entry points. Small bumps at the injection points are normal for the first hours and settle on their own.
Results and maintenance period vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, which are explained before you agree to treatment. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices may change. This article is general information from the clinic and is not a diagnosis; suitability is decided at the consultation.
