Dr. Lim sees three requests most from international patients in Myeongdong: lifting such as XERF or Ulthera, Sculptra for people on short trips, and Potenza or Olidia. The first two fit a trip; Potenza and Olidia need about three sessions 3 to 4 weeks apart, so Dr. Lim recommends them only to people living in Korea.
Why foreigners look for lifting in Korea

The second request is Sculptra, a collagen treatment. Dr. Lim explains that people on a short trip find it hard to have something like Ulthera that shows a lot, given how little time they have. Many choose Sculptra instead, because it comes up slowly, and aim to see the effect around the time they fly home.
The third is Potenza and Olidia. They are asked about a lot, but Dr. Lim does not recommend them to visitors. They work well, but need about three sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, so Dr. Lim recommends them only to people who have come to live in Korea.

What to expect at a Korean skin clinic as a traveller
With XERF, redness, swelling or mild discomfort can occur but is temporary, and the clinic advises skipping heavy drinking, intense exercise and saunas for about a week.

The clinic is one minute from Myeongdong Station Exit 5, on the 3rd floor of Goryeo Daeyeongak Tower, 97 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu. It is open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and on weekends 09:00 to 15:00.
Planning it around your Seoul trip
On a short trip, lifting or Sculptra is the realistic choice. Book the consultation early in your stay so any follow-up questions can be answered before you leave.
