Radiesse in Seoul: Price, CaHA Volume and Skin

Radiesse in Seoul from ₩629,000 excl. VAT: how this CaHA collagen booster firms skin and adds volume, who it suits, and the timeline. Ask us on WhatsApp.

In this article

Radiesse is what I reach for when the complaint is not one line but a whole area that has gone flat and slack — outer cheeks that have dropped, a jawline that has lost its edge, skin that looks thinner than it did five years ago. It is a calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) based collagen booster: the gel adds volume the moment it goes in, and the mineral particles then stimulate fibroblasts in your skin to produce collagen over the following weeks.

At Muse Clinic Myeongdong Radiesse starts from ₩629,000 (excl. 10% VAT) for one box, one syringe. That is the same line a Korean patient reads off the same list. Below is what the product actually does, who it suits, what changes the price, and the timeline I give every visitor before they book.

What Radiesse actually does: CaHA, not hyaluronic acid

Most fillers people know are hyaluronic acid: they hold water and sit where you put them. Radiesse is a different material. CaHA is a mineral component that already exists in the body, suspended in a carrier gel. The gel does the filling on day one. The particles do the slower work, pushing the skin's support structure to rebuild rather than only propping it up.

Our treatment page describes that rebuilding as filling in the core of collapsed skin by producing five regenerative components: collagen type 1, collagen type 3, elastin, proteoglycan and new blood vessel formation. In plain terms, the extracellular matrix — the scaffolding your skin sits on — gets denser, and skin that had gone thin and crepey behaves more like it used to.

  • Improves natural skin quality by improving the ECM
  • Helps normalise a broken skin structure
  • Softens fine lines and refines skin texture
  • Improves elasticity and restores volume
  • Approved by the US FDA, with a high level of safety

Who Radiesse suits, and who it doesn't

Our list names four kinds of patient for it, and they overlap with almost everyone who books it with us: people who want their own skin quality improved rather than a filled look, people bothered by outer cheeks that have fallen away, people who have lost elasticity and see sagging, and people whose skin structure has broken down.

  • Wanting natural skin texture and firmness improved, not a plumped face
  • Outer cheeks that look hollow or have dropped
  • Lost elasticity, with early sagging along the cheek and jaw
  • Thin, crepey skin where the underlying structure has weakened

It is not the answer for everything. Lips are not an area I use it in. If your concern is a single deep fold or a defined shape you want to be able to adjust later, a hyaluronic acid product such as Juvederm or an area-specific option like temple filler is the more sensible choice, because HA behaves differently and can be adjusted. If the issue is heavy, loose skin rather than lost volume, an energy-based lifting treatment is the honest recommendation and I will say so at the consultation.

Radiesse Volume or Radiesse Skin: two ways we use it

Our menu lists Radiesse as a volume session and as a skin session, and they are different jobs. Volume work restores structure where the face has emptied — the outer cheek, the temple-to-cheek transition, the line along the jaw. Skin work spreads the product more thinly over a broader area so the aim is texture, fine lines and firmness rather than shape.

What you see firstShape, on the dayLittle at first; the change builds
What you see laterFirmer, better-supported skin as collagen buildsSmoother, denser-feeling skin over weeks

Which one you need is decided by hand, not by photo. I look at where the light falls on your face when you sit up, pinch the skin to judge thickness, and ask what bothers you in your own photos. Plenty of people leave the consultation with a plan for one syringe in one area rather than the package they came in asking about.

Radiesse price in Seoul: the options and what changes the number

Three things move the final figure: how many syringes your face actually needs, whether you take a single session or a course, and whether the product is used for volume or as a skin booster. Everything is published, every option and every number, on the treatments page. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices run for a limited period, so check the live figure before you plan your budget.

Radiessefrom ₩629,000
  • Radiesse 1 box (1 syringe)₩900,000₩629,000
  • Radiesse 1 box (3 sessions)₩1,790,000
  • Radiesse Volume 1session₩900,000
  • Radiesse Skin 1session₩900,000

Prices exclude 10% VAT. Event prices run for a limited period and may change.

There is no separate foreigner menu here. The interpreter reads you the same list, in English, that the patient before you read in Korean. If your budget only stretches to one syringe, I would rather place one syringe well in the area that changes your face most than spread it across three zones for the sake of the quote.

What the visit looks like, and the timeline afterwards

A structured consultation with an interpreter comes first. After that the plan is made and the injections performed one to one by the head doctor — the same person who consulted you. You see the product and the dose before anything goes in; genuine products and correct dosage is the clinic's first motto and we would rather show it than say it.

  1. 01Consultation with an interpreter: your concerns, your photos, your dates.
  2. 02I assess volume and skin thickness by hand and mark the areas.
  3. 03Numbing, then the product and dose are shown to you and checked.
  4. 04Injection through a small number of entry points, with pressure and moulding as I go.
  5. 05Aftercare instructions in your language before you leave.
Typical Radiesse timeline
WhenWhat you notice
Day 0Volume is visible immediately. Tenderness, some swelling, possibly a small bruise at entry points.
Days 1–7Swelling settles. The treated area can feel firm to the touch. Makeup is usually fine from the next day.
Weeks 4–8The collagen response builds. Skin feels denser and firmer; texture looks more even. This is the point to judge.
Months 3–6The carrier gel is gradually absorbed while your own collagen stays. The result reads less like filler, more like your own tissue.
LaterThe effect fades gradually. Repeat timing is decided at a review, not on a fixed schedule.

Risks, and the part I go through before you sign

Radiesse is an injectable, and every injectable carries possible side effects. Most of what happens is minor and short-lived. The parts worth understanding before you agree are placement-related, and they are the reason I am conservative about where and how deep the product goes.

  • Bruising, swelling and tenderness at entry points for a few days.
  • Lumps or firm areas if product is placed too superficially — the reason depth and technique matter.
  • Unlike hyaluronic acid, CaHA is not reversible with an enzyme, so the plan is made carefully rather than generously.
  • Vascular complications are rare with any facial injectable but serious; this is why the doctor who assesses you is the one who injects.
  • Tell us about recent injectables, dental work, illness or blood-thinning medication before we plan.

Why visitors book Radiesse at Muse Clinic Myeongdong

One price list, identical to the Korean price, published in full on the site. Interpreters in the clinic in English, Japanese and Chinese, with other languages arranged on request, who stay with you from consultation through treatment. And a consultation that leads straight into treatment by Dr. Sarang Lim, an advisory doctor for Merz, Galderma Sculptra, Juvéderm and Olidia, and a certified Cynosure laser centre.

Practically, for a trip: we are a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5, near Hoehyeon Station Exit 7 across from Shinsegae, on the 3rd floor of the building with a Twosome Place café and Hana Bank at street level. Open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–15:00, so a weekend appointment between shopping days is realistic. If you are still shortlisting clinics, our guide on choosing a skin clinic in Seoul as a foreigner covers what to check before you pay.

Questions people ask

Before you message us

How much does Radiesse cost in Seoul?

At Muse Clinic Myeongdong Radiesse starts from ₩629,000 excl. 10% VAT for one box (one syringe) as an event price. The list also carries a three-session course, plus separate Radiesse Volume and Radiesse Skin sessions. Event prices run for a limited period and can change, so the treatment page always shows the current numbers, and it is the same list a Korean patient is quoted.

Is Radiesse a filler or a collagen stimulator?

Both, and that is the point of it. Radiesse is based on calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), a mineral your body already contains, suspended in a gel. The gel gives volume on the day. The CaHA particles then stimulate fibroblasts, so your own collagen and elastin build in the weeks after. How much you build varies from person to person.

How long does Radiesse last?

The immediate volume from the gel carrier fades over the first few months while the collagen response takes its place, so the look shifts from filled to firmer. Most people hold the result for many months rather than weeks, and a repeat session is usually planned rather than urgent. Chewing, weight change and how quickly you make collagen all move the timing, so it varies by individual.

Does Radiesse hurt, and is there downtime?

We numb first, and the injections themselves take a short part of the visit. Expect tenderness, some swelling and possibly a small bruise at entry points for a few days. Makeup the next day is usually fine. I ask patients to skip the sauna, hard massage and heavy drinking that evening, and to book it a few days before any event rather than the night before.

Radiesse or Sculptra — which one should I pick?

Radiesse gives you something to see on the day and then builds collagen; Sculptra, from ₩590,000 excl. VAT, works purely by stimulating collagen over a course of sessions with nothing immediate to show. If your trip is short and you want a visible change before you fly home, Radiesse is usually the better fit. If you live here or return often, a Sculptra course is worth discussing.

Can I have Radiesse on a short Seoul trip?

Yes, as long as you leave a few days between the appointment and anything photographed. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and a straight-on photo, and we will tell you which option suits and the earliest slot. We are one minute from Myeongdong Station Exit 5, open Mon–Fri 10:00–20:00 and Sat–Sun 09:00–15:00.

Results and maintenance period vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, which are explained before you agree to treatment. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices may change. This article is general information from the clinic and is not a diagnosis; suitability is decided at the consultation.
