I am Dr. Sarang Lim, head doctor at Muse Clinic Myeongdong — trained at Inje University College of Medicine, a member of the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Plastic & Laser Medicine and an advisory doctor for Jeisys, so radiofrequency lifting fills most of my consultation hours. Thermage cost Korea is the phrase most of those patients typed before they walked in.

So, the direct answer. On our published list, Duet Thermage starts from ₩790,000 (excl. 10% VAT), and that line is a course of sessions rather than a single sitting — which is the first thing that surprises people comparing thermage cost Korea figures across clinics.

If that sits above your budget, the same radiofrequency principle comes in single sessions priced by shot count: DENSITY from ₩169,000 and ALL TITE from ₩139,000, both excl. VAT. Every figure I quote here is on the full treatments price list.

Thermage cost Korea: the price list in won

Most pages that answer this question give a range with no device name attached. Here are device names and won. The block below renders from the same list our Korean patients read at the counter.

Prices exclude 10% VAT, and event options run for a limited period, so the treatment page is the authority on today's thermage cost Korea figure.

Two notes on the Duet Thermage line. It is structured as a programme of sessions, which is why the number is bigger than a one-visit price, and the treatment tip is supplied only when the package is taken. If you want how much does thermage cost for a single visit and who it suits, I set that out in Thermage in Seoul: Duet Thermage cost and who it suits.

What changes your final thermage cost Korea total

Nobody gets a mystery number here, but two people can walk out with two different totals for the same device. These are the variables I actually adjust in a consultation — the honest answer to how much does thermage cost for you specifically.

  • Shot count. Radiofrequency is sold by shots — 100, 300, 400, 600, 800, 1200. Your thermage cost Korea figure moves with shot count more than with anything else.
  • The tip. A monopolar tip, a combined monopolar-and-bipolar tip, or a smaller eye tip are priced differently. The tip is a consumable, not reusable.
  • Number of sessions. One session, or a course. A course lowers the cost per session but needs you in Seoul more than once.
  • Area. Face, face plus neck, or eye area only. The eye area is its own line.
  • The bundled option. Several radiofrequency lines let you add one item — two tightening injections, domestic Dermatoxin, Baekok glutathione, or Gold Accu 10cc — within the listed price.
  • VAT. 10% on top, so your total is the list figure plus 10%, the same for every patient.
  • Event period. Some options are event prices with an end date. The website number is the one that counts on the day you come.

Why your thermage cost Korea quote is the same number a Korean pays

I know why people ask this. A clinic that quotes a tourist by eye has a reason to keep its list off the internet. Ours is on the internet — every treatment, every option, every figure, on the treatments page before you book anything.

So the thermage cost Korea figure we send you on WhatsApp is the figure on the screen at reception, plus 10% VAT. English, Japanese and Chinese interpreters are in the clinic and stay with you from consultation through treatment, so nothing is agreed in a language you do not read.

After the structured consultation, the plan is made and carried out one to one by me. My training and advisory roles are on the doctor page, and the reason we work this way is on our clinic page.

What a thermage treatment actually does to the skin

A thermage treatment is radiofrequency lifting. The handpiece pushes high-frequency current through the surface and heats the dermis underneath while the surface itself is cooled. Collagen fibres contract in that heat — the firmness you feel the same day — and the heated tissue then rebuilds collagen over the following weeks.

On our list the Duet Thermage session runs 15 to 20 minutes, there is no incision, and you go back to your day afterwards. The steps are plain.

  1. 01One-to-one consultation — I feel the skin, decide tip and shot count, and say what the energy will and will not move.
  2. 02You cleanse your face at the clinic.
  3. 03The session: the handpiece passes over mapped sections while the surface is cooled.
  4. 04Sunscreen applied before you walk back out into Myeongdong.

Eye thermage: a separate tip, a separate price

Eyelid skin is the thinnest on the face, so it cannot take a face tip or face settings. Eye thermage runs with a smaller tip and its own shot count, which is why it sits as its own line on the list — our eye-area options are under eye thermage on the DENSITY page.

What it realistically addresses is crepey texture and fine lines on the lid and under the eye, plus a small amount of lift on a lid that rests lower than it used to. If the heaviness is skin folding over the lash line, read how to get rid of hooded eyes in Seoul first — different problem, different tools.

Thermage before and after: when the change shows

Visitors often judge the result on the evening of the treatment, which is too early for the half that matters. This is the sequence I describe before every session. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.

The same pattern, written next to the cost, is in my thermage before and after timeline for Duet Thermage.

Typical radiofrequency lifting timeline
WhenWhat you notice
Day 0Skin feels warm and looks slightly flushed. A tightening you can feel as collagen contracts.
Days 1–3Redness and the warm feeling generally settle. Makeup and normal washing are fine.
Weeks 2–8New collagen builds. Texture and pores look more refined; the jaw and cheek line start to read cleaner.
Months 2–3The fullest change from the session. This is the point worth photographing.
Months 3–12Recommended interval: every three to six months for ALL TITE, once or twice a year for DENSITY.

Thermage side effects and the honest limits

Radiofrequency is non-invasive, not risk-free, and no thermage cost Korea comparison is complete without this list. These are the thermage side effects I warn people about before they pay.

  • Temporary redness and a warm, flushed feeling — usually settles within two to three days.
  • Mild swelling or tenderness at the treated area for a day or two.
  • Short-lived sensitivity to heat and sun; sunscreen matters more than usual in the first week.
  • An uneven or disappointing result if the energy is not matched to your skin thickness — which is why settings are set per person, not by default.
  • Burns are possible with any heat device if cooling or technique fails, so the surface is cooled throughout and the operator stays on the handpiece.
  • Not suitable if you are pregnant, have an active skin infection in the area, or carry an implanted electronic device — tell me at the consultation.

Fitting a session into a short Seoul trip

We are on the 3rd floor of the Korea Daeyungak Tower at 97 Toegye-ro, a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5, and close to Hoehyeon Station Exit 7 across from Shinsegae Department Store. There is a Twosome Place café and a Hana Bank on the ground floor, so the building is easy to spot.

Hours are Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–15:00, so a weekend session between shopping days is realistic. The parking tower in the same building charges ₩1,000 per 10 minutes with no base fee.

For a trip of three days or fewer I would plan a single radiofrequency session rather than a course — the thermage cost Korea of a programme you cannot come back to finish is money badly spent, and I will say so when you message rather than after you pay.

Questions people ask

Before you message us

Thermage cost Korea: what is the real figure at your clinic?

At Muse Clinic Myeongdong the Duet Thermage line starts at ₩790,000 excl. 10% VAT, and that figure covers a course of sessions rather than one visit. Other radiofrequency lifting on the same list starts at ₩169,000 for DENSITY and ₩139,000 for ALL TITE, both excl. VAT. Every option and number is published on the treatments page, and event prices run for a limited period, so check the page for today's figure.

Is the thermage cost Korea price the same for foreigners?

Yes. There is no separate foreigner menu here. You are quoted from the same published list a Korean patient reads, and the full list with every option sits on the website so you can compare before you message us. The only thing added at the counter is 10% VAT, which applies to everyone equally.

How many sessions do I need, and can I fit them into one trip?

The Duet Thermage line is built as a multi-session course, so it suits someone living in Seoul or returning. If you are here for a few days only, I usually plan a single-session radiofrequency option priced by shot count instead, and you leave with skin that feels tighter the same afternoon. How much it changes varies from person to person.

When do thermage before and after changes show?

Radiofrequency gives two separate effects. The first is a tightening you feel on the day, as existing collagen contracts in the heat. The second is slower: new collagen builds over roughly two to three months, which is when photos taken from the side show a cleaner jaw and cheek line. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.

What are the thermage side effects?

The usual ones are temporary redness and a warm, slightly tender feeling that generally settles within two to three days. Swelling at the treated area and short-lived sensitivity are also possible. Any heat-based device can cause a burn or an uneven result if the energy is not matched to your skin, which is why settings are chosen per person and the skin is cooled during treatment.

Is eye thermage priced separately from the face?

Yes. The eye area uses a smaller tip and a different shot count, so it appears as its own line on the price list rather than being folded into a face session. We run eye-area radiofrequency as a separate DENSITY option, and the current numbers are on the treatment page. Any thermage cost Korea comparison that uses a face price for the eye area will mislead you.

Results and maintenance period vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, which are explained before you agree to treatment. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices may change. This article is general information from the clinic and is not a diagnosis; suitability is decided at the consultation.
