Facial Balancing Korea: Filler by Area, Price

Facial balancing Korea guide: cheek, chin, jawline and nasolabial fold filler from ₩69,000 excl. VAT, the same price list Koreans pay. Ask us on WhatsApp.

In this article

If you have been searching facial balancing Korea, you are probably looking at one of four things in the mirror: flat cheeks, a short or receding chin, a jawline that blurs into the neck, or folds running from the nose down to the mouth corners. Facial balancing is not a single procedure. It is a plan that places small amounts of filler where your face is missing structure, so the parts you dislike stop pulling the eye.

At Muse Clinic Myeongdong facial balancing Korea work is dermatology clinic work: a structured consultation with an interpreter, then the head doctor designs and injects one to one. The facial filler list starts from ₩69,000 (excl. 10% VAT), the same line a Korean patient sees. Below is how I plan it area by area, which product I pick for which area, and how it fits a short trip.

What facial balancing in Korea actually means

Facial balancing treats the face as a set of proportions instead of a list of complaints. A chin that sits too far back makes the lower face look heavy even when there is no fat there. Flat cheeks make nasolabial folds look deeper, because the fold is partly a shadow cast by the area above it.

Korean facial balancing, as I practise it, leans towards small volumes spread across two or three areas rather than a large amount in one. The goal is a face that looks structured in ordinary light and in photos, not a face that looks treated. You can see the whole menu with every option on the treatments page, and the hyaluronic acid base of most plans is our korean facial balancing with HA filler line.

  • Front view: is the lower third wide, short, or both?
  • Side view: does the chin reach the line from the lip to the jaw angle?
  • Cheek support: does the fold deepen when you lie down, or stay the same?
  • Skin quality: is the sagging a volume problem or a laxity problem?
  • Movement: does the area change shape when you smile or clench?

Who facial balancing Korea suits, and who I ask to start elsewhere

Our list describes the typical filler patient as someone with little volume on the face, someone who wants a more three-dimensional shape, someone bothered by wrinkles and sagging contours, or someone with a flat chin. That matches most of the facial balancing Korea consultations I see from visitors.

Filler adds structure. It does not tighten skin and it does not shrink muscle. If the width you dislike appears when you clench your teeth, that is the chewing muscle and I would talk about masseter Botox in Seoul instead. If the jawline is blurred because the skin itself has loosened, a volume plan alone will disappoint you, and PDO thread lifting in Seoul or an ultrasound lifting course is the honest answer.

Area by area: cheeks, chin, jawline and nasolabial folds

Cheeks

The mid-face is the anchor of any facial balancing Korea plan. Restoring a small amount of volume over the cheekbone lifts the shadow below it, which is why cheeks are often injected before anyone touches the folds. For a firmer, more defined cheek I usually reach for korea facial balancing with Juvederm, a hyaluronic acid filler approved by the MFDS and the FDA, because its firmness holds a projected shape rather than spreading flat.

Chin

A flat or short chin is the single change that alters a profile fastest. Our chin package pairs 1cc of Soonsoo filler with a domestic chin Botox injection, which relaxes the muscle that pulls the chin dimple and lets the filler sit smoothly. The list price for that package is from ₩69,000 (excl. 10% VAT).

Jawline

Filler along the jaw angle and the body of the mandible sharpens the line where the face meets the neck. This area takes firm product and conservative volume: too much reads as a wide lower face, which is the opposite of what most people ask for. Many facial balancing Seoul plans add firmness here with a collagen stimulator instead of a pure gel — I explain that choice in my facial balancing Seoul notes on Radiesse.

Nasolabial folds

Folds from the nose to the mouth corners are treated last, once the cheek above them is supported. We have a dedicated line for facial balancing in Korea for nasolabial folds, and the Juvederm menu also carries a nasolabial fold package. Searches for facial balancing South Korea often include the temples too, since hollow temples drag the whole upper face down; that one I cover in temple filler in Seoul.

Facial balancing Korea: which product for which area

Four products cover almost every facial balancing Korea plan I write. Two are hyaluronic acid gels that add volume the moment they go in. Two are collagen stimulators that work over weeks, trading immediacy for firmness and skin quality.

What moves the final price of facial balancing in Korea is simple: which product, how many syringes or vials, and which areas. Some areas are priced separately on the list, and some lines exclude the nose, under-eye, forehead or lip area, so the consultation is where the plan and the total are confirmed together. Nothing is added after the design is agreed.

What a facial balancing Seoul visit looks like on a short trip

The sequence is the same for every filler area on our list, and the injection itself is quick. A single-area session takes about 10 minutes once the design is drawn.

  1. 01One-to-one consultation with an interpreter present: front view, side view, what you want changed.
  2. 02Anaesthetic cream, so the needle is barely felt.
  3. 03Design: I mark the entry points and the volume for each area while you sit upright.
  4. 04Injection. You see the product and the measured dose before it goes in — genuine product and correct dosage is the clinic's first motto.
  5. 05Finish. Whatever is left in the syringe is discarded; there is no retouching with leftover filler.
Typical filler timeline after facial balancing
WhenWhat to expect
Day 0Shape is visible straight away, with swelling on top of it. Little downtime; you can walk back into Myeongdong.
Days 1–3Swelling peaks then eases. The chin and jawline can feel firm or tender to press.
Days 7–14The filler settles into its final shape. This is the window in which moulding — reshaping the design by massage — is still realistic.
Month 1 onwardHyaluronic acid holds, then is gradually broken down by the body. With Sculptra, sessions continue every 4–6 weeks as collagen builds.

For a trip, book filler early rather than on your last day, so swelling has time to go. Results and how long they last vary from person to person, and a collagen stimulator course cannot be compressed into one week just because the flight is booked.

Risks, swelling and the part worth hearing before you book

Filler is a routine injection, but it is still an injection, and every procedure carries the possibility of side effects. You should hear them from the doctor before you agree, not read them afterwards.

  • Swelling and bruising at the entry points, usually a few days.
  • Tenderness when pressing the area, most noticeable on the chin and jawline.
  • Lumps or asymmetry while the product settles — the reason the 2-week moulding window exists.
  • Over-correction if too much volume goes into one area, which is why I inject conservatively and review.
  • Rarer vascular complications, which is why anatomy, entry points and a doctor doing the injection matter more than the brand on the box.

Why visitors book facial balancing Korea at Muse Clinic Myeongdong

One price list. There is no foreigner menu here — you pay the same transparent price a Korean patient pays, and every treatment with every option is published on the price list. Prices exclude 10% VAT, and event prices are marked as events because they run for a limited period.

Interpreters in the clinic. English, Japanese and Chinese interpreters work on site, other languages can be arranged on request, and someone stays with you from consultation through treatment. The head doctor injects. The structured consultation leads straight into a one-to-one treatment planned by Dr. Sarang Lim, who serves as an advisory doctor for Juvéderm and for Galderma Sculptra.

Practical details for a trip. We are on the 3rd floor of the Korea Daeyungak Tower at 97 Toegye-ro, a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5, near Hoehyeon Station Exit 7 and across from Shinsegae Department Store. Open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–15:00. If facial balancing South Korea is one of several things on your list, my guide to choosing a skin clinic in Seoul as a foreigner walks through what to check before you book anywhere.

Questions people ask

Before you message us

How much does facial balancing Korea cost?

At Muse Clinic Myeongdong the facial filler list starts from ₩69,000 for the chin package, Juvederm from ₩289,000 per 1cc, Sculptra from ₩590,000 per vial and Radiesse from ₩629,000 per syringe. All prices exclude 10% VAT and are the same numbers a Korean patient reads. Event prices run for a limited period, so the treatment pages always show the current figures.

How many cc do I need for facial balancing in Korea?

Our list is priced per 1cc syringe or per vial, so a facial balancing plan is counted in syringes rather than guessed in advance. The amount depends on which areas we treat and how much structure is missing, and that is decided in the consultation after looking at your face from the front and the side. Most people start with fewer areas than they expect, because one corrected area changes how the next one reads.

Does facial balancing filler hurt?

Anaesthetic cream is applied before we start, and the filler itself contains an anaesthetic, so it is less painful than people expect. The injection part of a single-area session takes around 10 minutes. You may feel pressure while the filler is placed and a dull ache for a few hours afterwards, especially along the chin and jawline where the tissue is firmer.

How long does facial balancing filler last?

Hyaluronic acid filler is broken down by your own body, and the speed of that breakdown differs by person, by product and by area — the chin and jawline usually hold longer than mobile areas near the mouth. Collagen stimulators such as Sculptra build volume gradually instead, which is why they are planned as a course. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.

Can I do facial balancing in Seoul on a short trip or at a weekend?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler shows immediately and has little downtime, so facial balancing in Korea fits a trip better than most treatments. We are open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–15:00, one minute from Myeongdong Station Exit 5. If you can, book early in the trip so swelling has a few days to settle before any photos.

Will facial balancing make me look overdone?

That usually comes from too much volume in one area rather than from filler itself. I design in small amounts, check your face sitting upright and from the side, and stop when the line reads straight. There is no retouching with leftover product at our clinic: whatever remains in the syringe is discarded, so no one is tempted to use up the rest.

Results and maintenance period vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, which are explained before you agree to treatment. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices may change. This article is general information from the clinic and is not a diagnosis; suitability is decided at the consultation.
