You have two free afternoons in Seoul and a browser full of tabs. Searching for the best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners rarely gives you an answer, because most results look identical: soft lighting, a map pin, no prices. I am Dr. Sarang Lim, head doctor at Muse Clinic Myeongdong, and this page answers the three questions sitting underneath that search — what you will pay, who you can talk to, and who actually plans and performs your treatment.
The short version: our price list is the same one a Korean patient reads, interpreters stay with you from the consultation through the treatment, and we are a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5. Jaw Botox starts from ₩19,000 (excl. 10% VAT) and Ulthera Lifting starts from ₩199,000 (excl. VAT). Every option and every number sits on the full treatments page.
What the search "best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners" is really asking
The wording changes in the messages I read — seoul skin clinic for foreigners, korean skin clinic for foreigners, seoul skin clinic for foreigners gangnam, best skin clinic for foreigners seoul — and some people type best beauty clinic in seoul for foreigners or seoul beauty clinic for foreigners instead. The checklist underneath never changes. There is no single best korean skin clinic for foreigners; there is the one that answers these four questions in writing before you pay.
- Is the price on the website the price I pay, or is there a quote invented at reception?
- Will someone translate during the consultation, not only while I fill in the form?
- Does a doctor examine my skin, design the treatment and perform it?
- Can the whole visit fit between a flight, a hotel check-in and dinner?
Answer those four and the phrase best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners turns into something you can actually compare. If you want a longer version of that checklist with the exact sentences to send a clinic, we wrote one for foreigner friendly skin clinics in Seoul. This page answers the same questions for us, with numbers.
Do foreigners pay more at a Seoul skin clinic for foreigners?
This is the first thing people ask me, and it deserves a flat answer. There is no foreigner menu here. You read the same line on the same list a Korean patient reads, and 10% VAT is added at the counter rather than hidden inside the figure. Event prices run for a limited period and can change, which is why the treatments page — not a screenshot from two months ago — is the reference.
A clinic that publishes every option and every number has nothing left to negotiate with you, and for most people that transparency is what decides the best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners. If you are benchmarking before you fly, our Korean Botox price guide breaks down what Botox in Korea costs area by area, and our general overview of a skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners covers what a first visit usually includes.
Language: who translates, and at which moment
English, Japanese and Chinese interpreters are in the clinic, and other languages can be arranged if you ask in advance. The point that matters is timing: the interpreter is with you while the plan is being decided, not only when you sign in. That is when you need to say "I do not want my face to look narrower, just less tired" and be understood exactly.
We handle enquiries from abroad on WhatsApp and Instagram rather than by phone, because we do not run a foreign-language phone line. In practice that is better for you: your dates, your concern and your photos stay in one thread you can scroll back through.
Seeing a dermatologist in Korea for foreigners: how the visit runs
- 01You arrive on the 3rd floor and an interpreter meets you at reception.
- 02A structured consultation: your concern, your skin history, what you have had done before, your travel dates.
- 03I examine the skin and the muscle under it, then plan the treatment with you one to one.
- 04Treatment, performed by me with the interpreter present if you want them there.
- 05Aftercare instructions in your language, plus what to watch for over the next week.
Who holds the needle is the part of the best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners question that is hardest to check online. My education, society memberships and advisory roles are listed on the doctor page, so you can read them before you book.

What visitors book at our Korean skin clinic for foreigners
Four things cover most short-trip bookings. Here is when I would choose each, and the starting price from our list — all excluding 10% VAT.
Jaw Botox — from ₩19,000
When the lower face looks wide because the chewing muscle is overbuilt, not because of bone or skin. Jaw Botox takes about 10 minutes with little downtime, and the slimming appears over the following weeks rather than the same day. Our deeper write-up on masseter Botox in Seoul covers units and the week-by-week timeline.
Anti-wrinkle Botox — from ₩29,000
For expression lines: forehead, glabella, crow's feet, under-eye area, nose bridge, chin. Anti-wrinkle Botox takes 10–20 minutes, and the single-area and multi-area options let you treat exactly what bothers you instead of a package you did not ask for.
Pico Laser Toning — from ₩39,000
For uneven tone, freckles, melasma and old acne marks, which is what most people mean when they say their skin looks dull in photos. Pico Laser Toning uses very short laser pulses to target pigment, and pigment work is a series rather than one visit — see Pico laser in Korea for how sessions are usually spaced.
Ulthera Lifting — from ₩199,000
For sagging along the jaw and cheeks where the skin needs tightening from underneath. Ulthera Lifting uses focused ultrasound to heat a deep layer so it contracts over the following months; the session itself runs under 30 minutes. We check the genuine product and official tips with you before starting. More detail in our guide to Ultherapy in Seoul.

| If your concern is | Treatment | In the room | When it shows |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wide, square lower face | Jaw Botox | About 10 minutes, ice roller first | Over the following weeks as the muscle softens |
| Forehead and eye lines | Anti-wrinkle Botox | 10–20 minutes | From around a week, building over the first month |
| Dull tone, freckles, acne marks | Pico Laser Toning | Short laser session plus a modelling pack | Gradually, over a series of sessions |
| Sagging jaw and cheeks | Ulthera Lifting | Under 30 minutes | Firmness develops over 2–3 months |

Myeongdong or Gangnam? Getting to the clinic
If your map searches keep landing you in Gangnam, know that the district is a travel-time decision rather than a quality one. We are on the 3rd floor of Korea Daeyungak Tower, 97 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu — a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5 on Line 4, also close to Hoehyeon Station Exit 7 across from Shinsegae Department Store. There is a Twosome Place café and Hana Bank on the ground floor, which is the easiest landmark to give a taxi driver.
- Mon–Fri 10:00–20:00, Sat–Sun 09:00–15:00 — a weekend slot between shopping is realistic.
- Parking tower in the same building: ₩1,000 per 10 minutes, no base fee.
- Parking exit times: weekdays until 18:30, Saturdays until 12:00.
- Most visitors walk in from their Myeongdong hotel rather than drive.

What I will not promise you
Every injection and every laser carries the possibility of side effects — a bruise, a tender point, redness or warmth for a while afterwards. Pigment and lifting work in stages, so one session on a short trip is a start, not a finish. Results and how long they last vary from person to person, and I would rather say that at the consultation than let you discover it at the airport.
I also will not treat something I do not think needs treating. If your concern is better handled with a different treatment, a different interval, or nothing at all this trip, that is what you will hear. Genuine product and the correct dose, prepared in front of you, is the clinic's first motto; saying no when a treatment does not fit is part of the same idea.
How to book the best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners from abroad
- 01Message us on WhatsApp with your travel dates and your main concern.
- 02Add a photo in daylight without a filter, if you are comfortable doing so.
- 03We reply with the suggested option, the price from the list and the time needed in the clinic.
- 04You confirm a slot; the interpreter language is noted on your booking before you arrive.
Nothing is locked in by that message. The plan is confirmed after the consultation, with the interpreter next to you, and you can change your mind in the room. That is the part the word "best" never captures — you want room to decide, in your own language, with the price already on the table. If you want the wider picture of what we do, start at the Muse Clinic home page or browse every treatment and price.

Questions people ask
Before you message us
Which is the best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners?
No one can answer that for you, because the best skin clinic in Seoul for foreigners depends on your concern and your dates. What you can check before booking is concrete: is the price list published, is there an interpreter with you during the consultation, and does a doctor plan and perform the treatment. At Muse Clinic Myeongdong the list is public, the price is the same one Korean patients read, and interpreters stay with you throughout.
Do skin clinics in Seoul charge foreigners more?
They should not, and we do not. There is no separate foreigner menu here. The number you see on our treatments page is the number you pay, with 10% VAT added at the counter. Event prices run for a limited period and can change, so the live treatment page is always the reference rather than a screenshot you saved weeks earlier.
Can I see a dermatologist in Korea for foreigners without speaking Korean?
Yes. English, Japanese and Chinese interpreters are in the clinic, and other languages can be arranged if you ask in advance. Someone translates during the consultation, not only at reception, and stays with you through the treatment. Foreign-language enquiries are handled on WhatsApp or Instagram, because we do not run a foreign-language phone line.
How much does a first visit to a Korean skin clinic cost?
It depends entirely on what you book. On our list, jaw Botox starts from ₩19,000, anti-wrinkle Botox from ₩29,000, Pico Laser Toning from ₩39,000 and Ulthera Lifting from ₩199,000, all excluding 10% VAT. Send your concern on WhatsApp and you will get the exact option and number before you travel, so nothing is decided under pressure in the chair.
Is Myeongdong or Gangnam easier for a skin treatment on a trip?
It is a logistics question, not a quality one. We are in Myeongdong, one minute from Station Exit 5 on Line 4 and close to Hoehyeon Station Exit 7 across from Shinsegae, so a session slots between shopping and dinner. Weekday hours are 10:00–20:00 and weekends 09:00–15:00, which suits short trips with packed days.
Can I fit a skin treatment into a three-day trip?
Usually yes, if you choose the treatment to suit the trip rather than the other way around. Botox injections take about 10–20 minutes with little downtime. Lasers and ultrasound lifting may leave the skin warm or pink for a while, so I prefer to place them on the first day rather than the morning of your flight. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.
Results and maintenance period vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, which are explained before you agree to treatment. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices may change. This article is general information from the clinic and is not a diagnosis; suitability is decided at the consultation.
