How much is Ultherapy in Korea? At Muse Clinic Myeongdong the genuine ultherapy treatment list starts from ₩199,000 (excl. 10% VAT) for a first-visit 100-shot trial session, then climbs by shot count through 300, 600 and 900 shots, with a separate 100-shot eye programme and a double chin package. The ₩199,000 figure is an event price for a first visit, so the live list on the treatment page is always the number to book from.

Those are the same figures a Korean patient reads off the same screen. There is no second price sheet for visitors, and every option with every number sits on our treatments page. Below is what each shot tier actually buys, what pushes your final bill up or down, and how one session fits a short Seoul trip.

How much is Ultherapy in Korea? Price by shot count

Korean clinics do not price this by "full face". They price by the shot — each shot is one line of focused ultrasound energy placed in the deep layer under your skin. More sagging, or more area to cover, means more shots, and the price moves with the count rather than with how long you lie on the bed.

In my consultations the 100-shot trial is where people start when they want to feel what it is like or treat one narrow zone. The 300-shot session is the usual starting point for a lower face and jawline. The 600 and 900-shot sessions are for a wider area or a denser pass over skin that has lost a lot of firmness, and there is a 100-shot eye option for the area the facial handpiece does not go near.

Prices exclude 10% VAT. Event prices run for a limited period and may change — the treatment page shows the current list.

Two things to read carefully on that list. First, prices exclude 10% VAT, so add 10% to work out what you hand over at the counter. Second, the 300, 600 and 900-shot sessions include one add-on of your choice at no extra charge: two tightening injections, Dermotoxin (domestic), Baekok (glutathione), or Gold Accu 10cc. You choose at the consultation, and the choice does not change the price.

What is Ultherapy, and why Korea prices it this way

The short answer to what is Ultherapy: the Ultherapy ultrasound is focused, so it passes through the surface without cutting it and deposits heat at small points deep down, including the SMAS layer that a surgeon would pull during a facelift. Heated tissue contracts, and over the following weeks the body lays down new collagen around those points. That is the whole mechanism — no incision, nothing to peel off.

Because the energy is delivered point by point, the shot count is the honest unit of cost. If you want the longer version of what is Ultherapy and how a session runs minute by minute, that guide covers it. Our list describes the treatment as suited to:

  • Skin that has started to sag along the jawline, cheeks or under the chin
  • Soft, loosened fat that has drifted downward
  • People who want a gradual, natural-looking lift rather than an obvious change
  • People who want to avoid surgery
  • Anyone who can only spare a short appointment: the treatment itself runs under 30 minutes

Shot countThe unit of pricing. 100, 300, 600 or 900 shots — more area or a denser pass costs more.
Which zoneThe eye programme uses its own 100-shot tip and is listed separately from the face.
Package vs single sessionThe double chin package bundles Ultherapy shots with a Gold Accu injection and two tightening sessions in one sitting.
Included add-onThe 300, 600 and 900-shot sessions let you pick one add-on (tightening injections, Dermotoxin, Baekok, or Gold Accu 10cc) at no extra charge.
Event or base priceSome options are limited-period event prices; the base list price is shown separately.
VATAll listed prices exclude 10% VAT.

What does not change it is your nationality, your passport, or whether you walked in from a hotel or from an office in Jung-gu. We publish one list and read from it. Genuine product and correct dosage — with the originality of the Ultherapy tip checkable in front of you — is the clinic's first motto, and it applies to the price sheet too.

Why visitors fly in for Ultherapy in Korea

Three practical reasons come up over and over in my consultation room. The list price is the Korean price, published in full, with nothing added for foreign patients. English, Japanese and Chinese interpreters are in the clinic, and someone stays with you from the consultation through the treatment rather than handing you off at the door. And the structured consultation leads straight into a one-to-one treatment planned and performed by the head doctor — you can read my training and advisory work on the doctor page before you decide to trust it.

The fourth reason is scheduling. Clinics here run long weekday hours and open on weekends, so a session slots between a department store and dinner. That matters more than it sounds when you have four days in the city and a list of things to do.

Ultherapy before and after in Korea: when it actually shows

Visitors often expect the mirror to change before the flight home, then message me from the airport worried they wasted the money. They did not — the collagen work has simply not happened yet. Here is the sequence I describe at every consultation. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.

Typical timeline after an Ultherapy session
WhenWhat you notice
Day 0Flushing and a warm, tight feeling. Mild swelling is possible. A soothing mask and sunblock finish the appointment.
Days 1–7The area can be tender when pressed, and chewing or yawning may feel odd. Some people feel an early tightening along the jaw.
Weeks 2–6Tenderness has gone. Collagen remodelling is underway; the change is subtle and easier to see in photos than in the mirror.
Months 2–3Where the firmness shows most: a cleaner jaw line, cheeks that sit higher. This is the point to judge ultherapy before and after in Korea.
After thatFirmness holds, then ageing continues. Many people repeat on a yearly rhythm; timing depends on your skin.

Ultherapy side effects and who I turn away

No clinic should sell you energy under your skin without telling you what it can do. The common ultherapy side effects are short-lived and expected rather than complications, but you should hear the list before you agree, not after.

  • Flushing and a warm feeling for a few hours after the session
  • Mild swelling, most noticeable the next morning
  • Tenderness when you press the treated area, for a few days up to around two weeks
  • Tingling or patchy numbness that fades as the nerves settle
  • An occasional small bruise where a vessel sat under a treatment point
  • Less common effects are possible with any device that heats tissue, which is why your skin and medical history are checked first

I also say no sometimes. If the looseness is mostly heavy skin that has folded past what tightening can hold, ultrasound alone will disappoint you, and I would talk about PDO thread lifting in Seoul instead. Pregnancy, active infection or inflamed skin in the treatment zone, and metal implants in the area are all reasons to postpone. That conversation happens before any money is taken.

If the Ultherapy price is above your budget

Say so out loud at the consultation. The lifting menu is not one device — Shurink Universe, the Korean HIFU system, starts from ₩41,000 (excl. VAT) for 100 shots and uses the same principle of focused ultrasound creating thermal coagulation points, with two handpieces and four modes mixed over the face. Many visitors on a tighter budget book the Korean HIFU Shurink Universe lifting tiers and are satisfied with where their jawline sits.

If your question is really ultrasound versus radiofrequency — a deep, point-by-point heat versus a broad bulk heating of the dermis — read the Thermage vs Ultherapy in Seoul breakdown before you choose. And if the skin that bothers you is on the neck rather than the face, start with our note on tightening a turkey neck without surgery; it is a different problem with a different plan.

Fitting Ultherapy into a short Seoul trip

The appointment runs in four steps: a one-to-one consultation, washing your own face at the clinic, the treatment, then a modelling mask and sunblock. The treatment part is under 30 minutes. Allow around an hour and a half door to door for a first visit, because the consultation is where the shot count is decided and that is not a conversation to rush.

We are on the 3rd floor of the Korea Daeyungak Tower at 97 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu — a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 5, also close to Hoehyeon Station Exit 7, across from Shinsegae. There is a Twosome Place café and a Hana Bank on the ground floor, so it is easy to find. Hours are Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–15:00. If you drive, the parking tower in the same building charges ₩1,000 per 10 minutes with no base fee, and the exit cut-off is 18:30 on weekdays and 12:00 on Saturdays. Phone support is Korean only, which is why booking goes through WhatsApp or Instagram — you get an answer in writing, in your language, from the clinic. Questions people ask

Before you message us

How much is Ultherapy in Korea?

At Muse Clinic Myeongdong the Ultherapy list starts from ₩199,000 (excl. 10% VAT) for a first-visit 100-shot trial session, and rises by shot count through the 300, 600 and 900-shot sessions, with a separate 100-shot eye programme and a double chin package. Event prices run for a limited period and can change, so the treatment page always shows the live numbers.

Is Ultherapy cheaper in Korea than at home?

I can't quote prices in other countries, so compare our published list against your local quote yourself. What I can promise about the Korean side of it: our list is on the website, it is the same list a Korean patient is charged, and the only addition at the counter is 10% VAT. Nothing is added because you hold a foreign passport.

How many Ultherapy shots do I need for a full face?

Shots are the unit Korean clinics price by, and a full face usually sits in the higher tiers rather than the 100-shot trial. In my consultations I decide the count after checking where the skin is actually loose — jawline only, lower face, or lower face plus neck — because paying for shots placed in the wrong zone changes nothing you can see.

What are Ultherapy side effects?

The usual Ultherapy side effects are short-lived: flushing, mild swelling, tenderness when you press the area, occasional tingling or patchy numbness, and sometimes a small bruise. These settle over hours to a couple of weeks. Any procedure that delivers energy under the skin carries a risk of less common effects, which is why the doctor checks your skin and history before treating.

When do Ultherapy before and after results show?

The first change is a mild tightening in the days after the session; the part people photograph comes later, as collagen remodels over roughly 2–3 months. That is why I tell visitors not to judge Ultherapy before and after in Korea from a photo taken at the airport on the way home. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.

Can I get Ultherapy on a weekend trip to Seoul?

Yes. The treatment itself is under 30 minutes, plus consultation and a mask at the end, so it fits inside a shopping afternoon. We are open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–15:00, one minute from Myeongdong Station Exit 5. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and we will hold a slot.

Results and maintenance period vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, which are explained before you agree to treatment. Prices exclude 10% VAT and event prices may change. This article is general information from the clinic and is not a diagnosis; suitability is decided at the consultation.
